i found the lounge and bar area very inviting. the food at the restaurants was good and the staff were nice. a particular manager at caruso remembered me from a previous year.
some building work was still ongoing, which wasn't entirely clear when i booked.

The room I was given was quite expensive relative to its small size. the reception staff seemed unfriendly and presented an attitude problem, disappointing.

I enjoyed that the kids had a play area nearby. There was an ice skating rink within walking distance. caruso, a restaurant, offered pizza and pasta. free access to the sport center, the heated pool, and spa were a good bonus. everything felt very convenient.
the staff could have been a little more friendly at times. it was a very minor issue though.

i appreciated the open areas within the hotel they looked lovely and cute. my room was very clean and the refurbishment looked great. the staff were attentive and helpful making my stay more enjoyable.
it was slightly inconvenient but i hope it will be resolved after the work is complete.
